i cannot for the life of me fathom how our beloved team works in terms of transfers.

every team in the world including the best in the world real madrid and barcelona have first transfer targets. they do whatever they can to get them but if they fail they eventually move to others in the list.
setting aside the tapping issues which is plain stupid.

why are we so hung over VVD and KEITA still! its either them or nothing. its just plain dumb strategy. u must have other targets in mind from the start just in case.

i don't know if this is just klopp being stubborn or what. but its a real shame we can't handle this more profisonally!

the team very obviously needs more depth. and we are fighting on many fronts this year. but this is a clear and utter failure. i know we have some time before the transfer market is closed. but we have already started the season!

Coz Klopp doesn't want anyone except those two. This has nothing to do with the board imo. They can't force Mr Klopp to buy someone he doesn't like! They could at the very best propose players.

It's not hard to grasp mate, the way we work is this:
1:brief the press who we want to unsettle them.
2:contact the player directly
3:apologise to the parent club via the owners.
4:sit back and watch how the players position becomes untenable.
5:swoop in with an offer.
6:wonder why nobody likes us.

Isn't that the Barcelona blueprint as well. Except for no 8.
8: actually sign the player.

It does seem strange we haven't gone for alternatives. Every team identifies a weak point then will have a number 1 target.
If they don't get that target, there will still be a weak point so they will need to hilight a replacement. Crazy we haven't approached other CM's or CB's yet.
