I see there is hysteria when it comes to the Lallana injury.

Henderson will start as long as he is fit. Coutinho will move into midfield and then we still have Can, Grujic and Wijnaldum. Milner may not be everyone's cup of tea in midfield but there we have another option.

There is no point in adding anymore to our midfield unless Klopp manages to sign his no 1 target otherwise we are just adding more midfielders for the sake of stockpiling the squad.

Why is there so much panic?

I love the different opinions on here.
We are told by some that our midfield is strong enough to deal with champions league and a premiership season.
We struggled last season with a 2 game a week January, we have lost Lucas Stewart. who have not been replaced. Henderson is always going to be a? Lalana, Can and grujic have been in and out with injuries through the last 2 season.
If Coutinho leaves we need to spend the money on bringing in quality in the middle . Klopp has looked at Bringing in Dahood and he who must not be named, so our manager knows we are lacking in that department. I agree about stock piling but there's a need for better quality, or more reliable, consistent players in that area, especially if you want to compete.
We just held on to 4th without European Comp last season, imo we will need to bring in stronger, better class midfielders to cope with the stress of more games.
Hey it's an opinion but I don't think we get 4th with the squad as it currently stands.3 to 4 top 1st team players needed 2 compete for title. The business other teams have made doesn't make 4th place finish easier.

Max, panic is what many of our fans do cos for some reason, we simply can't be clear-eyed in our evaluation of thing LFC-related. You don't
sign players to cover an injury for 2/ 3 months? That is why you have a squad. Another thing. Now that Lallana is injured, Couts is definitely not leaving now as that would be stupid.
