He is going. Probably best to all just except that. What I would say is, mane and salah are simply more important to us than him. He's a great player and would stay and become a legend but he will want Spain. Let him go for an exorbitant amount, replace with someone like Lemar and you will lose zero face.

If however we don't replace him and then let him go we will look like a selling club.

He has to be replaced with someone of pretty much equal cost.

We won't sell him this season. Doesn't matter how much money they have. He is only going to be better next year, and transfer prices will only rise next year. Whilst him and his agent have put out feelers for a move to Barca, he's not agitating the club for one. It would seem he's happy to stay one more season, as Ed's said, he's seen as a replacement for Iniesta not Neymar.

I wouldn't worry about it, if Klopp or the club were in any doubt that he would leave this season I think it would be a lot more obvious.

Personally I think they'll end up with Mbappe or Hazard. Pip will stay because we love him.

It's called the domino effect for a reason.

Hazard goes to Barca. they could look to coutinho.

No club in there right mind would turn away 10 million.

Put it this way if we don't sell this year whilst Barcelona have that money burning in there pocket, they sign say veratti. Who else would pay that amount. Then if coutinho is peeved he just had to wait a few years until his contract is low enough that we sell rather than lose on a free.

Yes we get to keep a player for longer but I'm not for holding players hostage, I want them here because they love us and the club.

You wouldn't keep your bird locked in the house if she wanted to get with another fella (unless you where ed25 haha) you'd be heart broken for a bit, then the lads would call, you would be in a night club and realise that she wasn't the only girl on the planet.

Transient is what comes to mind.

Ha SS, you have things the wrong way round, if my bird wants to go out with another fella, then she is history, move on, Barcelona don't have the final say, we should just keep telling them NO, they will have to sign someone very quickly to look good, once that is done, we can relax, I don't think that we are done yet in this transfer window, but Couts is staying and we are looking really good .
