Away from all the transfer stuff, has anyone seen the pre-season games? Any thoughts on what formations we've been playing (e. g. Coutinho in centre mid) or whether any of the fringe players look ready to step up (e. g. woodburn, TAA) . And yes, I know they are only friendlies.

433, I think these 2 games were just about getting that fitness up. So it was a mixed team both halves.
We are off to asia for a tourney against bigger teams soon so maybe we'll see his first team plans. Mane I think is staying in Liverpool.

Couts played on the left wing. It looks like klopp is just putting players out there for a run out at this early stage.

Woodburn has gone up a couple of bra sizes over the summmer!

He has doubled in size and put on plenty of muscle. Has looked very sharp so far also, showing some very good touches and an awful lot of confidence.

Final ball needs to be worked on but can see him being a long term replacement for Lallana. Seems to be coming on as a Lallana/ Countinho type player.
