Coutinho was almost back to himself last night bar his finishing and at times final ball. But his movement and control and dribbling looked much better also the turn of pace seemed to be back as well. I agree with end that hopefully this is more him getting back to form rather than a need for criticism. Firminos all round game last night could easily have made him man of the match his movement and interplay is simply immense but with the obvious crucial miss and two bad decisions at key times when he got space in the box at other times do take a lot of the shine off and possibly highlight long term his incapability to be relied upon as our focal main striker and getter of crucial goals. But he does seem to be a streaky player in front of goal. So something to work on anyway.
I'd like to give a mention to can as well I thought our midfield in general was very impressive for the most part but I thought can had one of his best games for a while and used his physicality to his advantage much more effectively than in the past.

Spot on, Shanek. Great collective performance from all especially form Can, Wiji, Firmino and Couts (marginally, tho) . And to know that Migs had next to nothing to do in the game shows how in some strange way, we were good defensively.
