Diouf by far our worst ever signing in my opinion.

Best for me is between Xabi alonso and Sami hyypia worst without doubt is el hadji diouf.

Diouf has to be a candidate. Cost us a lot of money at the time for a nasty troublemaker who was a distinctly average player too. What made it worse was there was a much better alternative in Anelka at the time. Cost £10 million and spat on a Celtic fan. Only scored 2 goals if memory serves? Imo he was worse than Balo when you consider how much 10m was at the time.

Also think reina, hamann and gary mac should come high on the list and ofcourse suarez if only judged by performances prolly the best ever to play for liverpool but we all knew it was not a marriage too last.

Worst is out of Carroll and balo.

The list for the worst is too long - kroncamp, aquilani, balotelli, cole, poulson, konchesky, jovanovic, diouf, voronin are the first that jump to mind. In fact, ill put aquilani at the top of that list purely because of his price tag and his complete cannot-be-arsed attitude.
Best signing for me is either Suarez or Xabi.

Who could and should have been on that list tho but injury cost them their career? heggem? Rob Jones? Anyone else?

The list is large for both worst and best. I think Suarez has to be the best buy for me. I know he was a divvy, but a fantastic player. we all could list loads it's a difficult one.
