Holy crap. Utter dominance of the opposition. These are the kind of displays we have been longing for.

Couple of things that can be justified is that Klopp does not want to play with and does not need a natural defensive midfielder and we do not need a dedicated striker either.

Klopp has shown that he wants 11 players on the pitch which works as a team, irrespective of who scores or assists.

Lallana is not a central midfielder but has completely been transformed by Klopp to fill the right midfield role. Henderson who is not defensive minded player is doing an absolute brilliant job as our deep-lying playmaker.

Kante was signed by Chelsea who have conceded as many as we have. Why do we need a defensive midfielder when our defending has improved on a massive scale compared to last season? Our midfield today destroyed Hull and has been pretty damn good against the other teams we have played this season.

We completely ripped Hull apart today from start to finish.

Finally we are starting to look decent at defending set pieces too. If only we can cut out stupid individual errors then our goals conceded might start looking better.

We are heading in the right direction under Klopp.

Lastly, Milner has done an absolute brilliant job at LB. As soon as we sign another LB I would like to see him move to RB. His runs are deadly and his right foot will cause much more harm then his left.

What a start to the season and may that continue.

YNWA.

I think Klopp may have found Milner's natural position. He runs like a beheaded chicken when he's in the midfield, but with the structure necessary to succeed at wing back, suddenly he's come into his own. I'd love to see him our on the right with someone naturally left-footed out there. Then maybe we have a clean sheet. Eh, Mr Cline losing your man on that corner? ;)

I think we may still need a solution on LB eventually. Milner has done a good job there, but he is probably not happy to be there for the rest of his Liverpool career.
It is great to see that we are taking the games one by one. It would have been easy for the boys to start a little slower, even if Klopp kept on banging at them about intensity and aggression, just because it is "only" Hull.

Let us enjoy this dominant win, but know that Hull was never the strongest side and that we must hope Klopp and the boys can continue with this attitude game after game. After all, we played like this at Burnley.

to be fair milner shouldn't have given away the corner.

Also GW wasn't strong enough for the challenge on the corner so think it's a bit harsh to blame Clyne,

watching arsenal chelsea and especially kante. his long passing is below average. Vision is average. He is great player for clubs that sit and counter where his energy and tackling come in handy as he starts those counter-attacks. I writing this as few days ago subject was who would be chelsea player you would like to see in liverpool. He wouldn't suit us as every our player needs to be good at everything. i'd take azpilicuetta to be milner substitute.

{Ed001's Note - he is a great player for a team that press off the ball, Chelsea are not pressing and he is being told to hold in front of the defence. Wasting his talents completely.}

Spot on, Ed. Kante and Hendo in midfield under a Klopp press or counter press system would be a dream midfield duo. Chelsea don't press hence, he's being wasted there. He's a shadow of the player he was at LC and even I, was shocked he cent to Chelsea. Well with such a tactically inept manager like Conte, what could go wrong? Everything.
