Hi eds, I've tried the search function and scrolled as far down as I can but I think you said something about coutinho and Sturridge asking to leave. Is this true or am I just imagining things

I saw someone say Coutinho had asked to leave but the club were trying to convince him to stay. Maybe it was Ed1 but I'm not 100% sure.

I think it's true that he has asked because there's no European football. Unless we can bring in some top quality signings to encourage him to stay, then he will be off. I'd imagine that Drinkwater, Chilwell, Long and Mane would be enough to see Coutinho go.

ED002 had indicated last summer that Coutinho would probably leave if there was no European football the next year (through some mumbo jumbo quotes with his Brazil team mates) . ED001 indicated a couple of days ago that Coutinho has asked to leave, but the club is trying to convince him to stay. Just to clarify.
