Greetings Eds and friends.

So it looks like Benteke is out again.
This time with knee ligament damage.

So Origi is going to keep getting game time.
Hope he can get one past Bournemouth.
I think that would do wonders for his (and perhaps the team's) confidence.

What are your thoughts (when fit) to give Firmino a look up front?
Worth a shot?
He has played in a lone striker role for Hoffenheim and Brazil, correct?

Wish Benteke a speedy recovery and hopefully not too serious.

Yes. He should be played up front over Origi. Big difference in quality. Seems Klopp realizes this.

Benetke's is not a serious injury and LFC hope he is back for the Chelsea game.

Well that's good to hear.
Thanks AG!

On the other side of the ball, sounds like Stoke knocked Costa around a bit, might be out for the match Saturday.

Crying shame about costa. Couldn't happen to a nicer fella. Good to see Walters finally score against someone other than ourselves!

Not surprised at all about Bentekes injury, he's another sicknote unfortunately which we all knew pre forking out 30 odd million quid.
As awful as Origi is/has been, I think it's important for him to play Tonight for his confidence and development. Ibe and Firminio should start also without question and play for a starting place come Saturday, not being negative but apart from 3/4 players you might argue most positions are up for grabs at the moment.
Time to shine me thinks.

Excellent point Welshkop.

If Origi is going to keep getting game time he needs to raise the confidence level a bit and perhaps he can scrap a few in for us.

Curious who Klopp will give the armband to on Saturday.
Because Milner can play today and not Sat, correct?

Personal choice would def have to Lucas (or Sakho? )
