sky sports just said that sterling met with rodgers yesterday, and said that he did not want to play under rodgers and doesn't want to go on pre season with us.

If Sterling wants to leave and it's all about Rodgers and not money. Then why doesn't he put a transfer request in?

Sterling is contradicting himself. He has said that it was because we didn´t qualified for CHL. Prior to that he said that he would have signed a deal last summer, but was never offered a new contract. I just think he is trying to angle a move away from LFC.

The guy has repeatedly made a mess of himself and the club (Interviews and hippy crack), and he comes across as a spoiled child who gets everything he points at. Rodgers have played him as much as he could, something he won´t get at city I would imagine. It is a shame to see a prospect wasting his talent, because of a poor attitude - I´m not going to miss him, despite of his talent.

Nailed it Red Fuzz. People shouldn't hang on Sterling's every excuse. Actions speak louder than words. The kid is not a professional.

His agents turned his head, Sterlings acting like a petulant child and I for one am glad Liverpool is standing its ground as a result.

This club is bigger than one player throwing his toys out of the pram, and it will hopefully be a lesson to anyone that if you disrespect the club and try to force a move by behaving poorly, the club is not going to fold.
