Question for Ed001, curious to know who you'd like to see come in as assistant manager and first team coach? Thanks!

{Ed001's Note - I actually like the idea of Bolo Zenden. I also would really like to see Roy Evans brought back to the club to help with coaching and give us the benefit of his experience. Personally I think we actually need a few more coaches involved, similar to the way Sheringham came in at West Ham early in the season. I would like to see us bring in someone like George Graham to coach defensive play. Maybe Glenn Hoddle to help with the technical aspects. People like that on short term contracts to work with players in small groups or as individuals to really improve the coaching we give.}

Is there a chance of Roy Evans coming back in? I think we played great attacking football under him and also his experience of coaching successful teams could be really useful especially with so many young players in the team.

{Ed001's Note - not as a coach, no.}

Thanks

{Ed001's Note - better option than who? I never said he was a better option than anyone.}

Ooh. Good call on George Graham. That hadn't occurred to me at all. He'd make a difference.

The issue would still be with Captain Colgate. He wouldn't agree and would insist on the back 3 system that even Graham can't coach.

{Ed001's Note - for anyone who doesn't agree with the idea of George Graham, I would suggest seeing if they could find videos of him giving his tactical talks on Sky Sports in its early days. It was not the most exciting TV, but it showed just how well he understood how to defend as a unit and what positions players should take up.}

Sorry Ed001 didn't put it in a proper way.Ed001 can u give any insights about the work done by Bolo Zenden as assistant manager?

Thanks

{Ed001's Note - he was at Chelsea and now at PSV as an assistant, but that is not why I would go for him. It is due to my personal opinion of him, he has a good personality for being an assistant manager. He is strong enough to take no messing but also very likeable and friendly, so he can be a great buffer between players and manager, which is what the assistant should be. Also Zenden is an intelligent fella, which is unusual for a footballer, but something you need in management. His Judo skills might come in handy too.....}

Hello eds. your thoughts on graham being a defensive coach.
Is he currently coaching/managing in football?
Is his defensive organisation well known in footballing circles and is it a realistic possibility of him coming if he is available.

{Ed001's Note - it is not going to happen.}

What about someone who worked in Graham's system?
I know he's a former Bluenose but what about Keown?
Hard as nails, passionate about the game, hates Man Utd and would likely stand up to the manager?

{Ed001's Note - but he is not a particularly outstanding coach, not particularly intelligent, not inspirational, he is just an ex-defender, which means nothing. He has been working part time with Arsenal coaching for nearly ten years now, yet never gone anywhere. That should be time to stand out as a coach.}
