Hi all,

I don't think we should at all be surprised that Depay has signed for Man UTD. They are the third richest club in the world and can offer that bit more we can't. Also the players he will be playing with will be much more appealing; di Maria, Rooney, mata, de gea, van persie and bring managed but another Dutchman. We would have a crocked potentially world class striker, a contract rebel, a brazilian who is as consistent as lumpy custard a hendo with joe Allen next to him.

Let's not get wound up by "missing out" on depay there are other needs. A replacement for Stevie, a new GK and a very good striker!

He was never coming to us. Media hypes things up and some of our fans begin to fantasize. We have moved down a peg or two (more like 6 or 7). Old saying 'you have to speculate to accumulate' comes to mind. Will anyone come to BR? Does anyone know him on the continent? Make of this what you will, but rumours concerning us are all total B.S. unless it's about signing some 17-18 year old in a remote village somewhere with 'bags' of potential! What a joke!

Also the fact that ed002 has been saying for ages he was going there

United offer likely CL, high wages, and a manager that has been described as Depay's 'non-biological father'. Can't imagine why he would have went there versus Europa, lower, heavily incentivized wages, and a club with, at the moment, a bit of an unclear managerial situation going forward.
