What about amrabat is he still an option?

{Ed002's Note - Of course, he has still not been sold.}

I said a couple months ago on here we’ll end up with Amrabat. Just got a feeling he’s going to end up here.

He wants to join Man U so he fits the profile of players you don’t want to play for us….

Ed002, I don't know what was said in Jan, but does that fact that Amrabat appointed new agent makes a difference? are United still interested after failing to offload McTominay? And at last, do you think Liverpool may be considering this Endo guy as a cover for our first choice DM targets Amrabat or Doucoure who would both be on AFCON duty in January?

{Ed002's Note - I think fences need to be mended regardless. Liverpool could switch back to him.}

Maybe not now it looks like we are signing this Endo geezer.

Hi Eds- is Doucoure now the primary choice for Liverpool as the starter DM as assuming Endo has been brought in primarily as cover?

{Ed002's Note - I cannot answer questions about Endo as I know the nothing of it.}

Scratches head puzzled lol, I hear ya Hessle. You’re worried like me that Endo is the main signing lol aren’t you? Surely can’t be.

I would rather play jürgen at the dm than sign him.

I actually like the idea of Endò - a very experienced player who can add some depth and experience to the midfield and in the dressing room, which we lack after Hendo and Milner have left. Due to his age, he also doesn’t block Bajcetic in the medium term, and can also play at CB in a pinch.

Only thing is that I hope we don’t see him as a replacement for Doucoure if we are still looking at him. Endo feels like a valuable squad player rather than a locked on starter at CDM which is what we really need. He does provide us some insurance though in case that’s a failure for any reason.

Endo could react the same way as Minamino. The club the fans would be too much for him, the culture shock would be too much. When you looked carefully at Minamino as tallented as he was he seemed lost like he was a rabbit in the headlights.

I doubt that Fbart, Endo is a lot older than Mini and has been Captain of a club in Germany for years. The culture in Germany is not too dissimilar to the UK plus Klopp is German. I don't expect a big culture shock for Endo at all.

I believe taki had settled. he didn't seem to have jurgens belief for some reason. he did score lots of goals for us last season he was here remember.

Sgred I 100% agreed with what you were saying then instantly contradicted yourself by adding we still need to add another defensive midfielder in dacoure? How would that not block the development of bajcetic and possibly more recently McConnell, we only had Fabinho as an out and out dm why replace him with 2? I don’t get it.

We have zero interest in Amrabat.

Fair question Jaydee - to clarify I made the comment with it already in mind we’d add another CDM, hence the ‘medium term’ reference. I think Bajcetic will really be hitting his stride at 20-21 and by then Endo will likely have filled his purpose for us and getting on a bit, and Bajcetic and Doucoure (assuming we get him) will be competing for a starting role.

I also believe Bajcetic might yet end up developing into a fantastic 8, so until then I hope he gets plenty of time in that position this year. I really miss having a Gini type control player at 8 and Bajcetic could end up being that for us because he’s so cool and versatile I feel the last 2 years we have sacrificed too much control in the search of creativity, and we need to become a bit harder to beat if we really want to win against the very best teams again.
