Just seen on SSN that we are in talks to sign Mac Alister with the fee touted at £70m. Just passing on the info.

Tbf id be tempted to sign a proven RB and then get 2 midfielders
Hopefully cheaper to get acRB than CM and play Trent in CM.

I've no idea why we would look at Barella. No desire to leave Italy according to the Eds and - be honest - whenever has an Italian footballer moved over here in recent years and been successful. I'd be happy for him to stay in Milan.

Barella, like Gavi when we were linked to him don't want to leave their current clubs so zero chance of signing them.
