According to David Ornstein Twitter page this is his last tweet he put out a few hours back-

" As things stand, Liverpool increasingly unlikely to sign Jude Bellingham this summer. Expected price and financial power of rivals puts Liverpool hopes in doubt. Pursuit not off and no firm decisions but sense is Man City + Real Madrid in stronger position".

You have to laugh Ed025. Everyone in melt down over Ornstein but if they just RTFP they'd already have seen Ed002 basically say he expects Madrid to win out!

MK I can assure you I’m not in melt down, good try though, over his tweets and true Ed025 I read that too and I personally think Man City will be his destination.

I don't get people having melt down's about Bellingham not joining. At the price it was always going to be a long shot, with the spending power of Man City and RM, there is no clause, so Dortmund could set the price. To be honest I would rather us rebuild the team not blow out wad on one player. And for the FSG/ Klopp out people if we don't get Bellingham need to remove head from backside. I have supported LFC for 40 years, I have seen good owners, bad owners, good and bad managers. I think we are doing pretty well on both at this time - bad season or not.

The only way Bellingham comes to us is if he himself wants the Liverpool move . Obviously Madrid and city are better teams than us with more money so unless the lad wants to don the famous red shirt and be a superstar in red I’d expect him to play elsewhere. Let’s hope our owners can pull something out the hat but I rather doubt it now . If we would have been up their in the league and champions league maybe but we look shot all over the pitch.

Doesn't matter if City and Madrid have the higher spending power, the lad wants to come here at the end of the day it's up to him too, all it takes is Liverpool to structure the deal accordingly, we also have a few U23's who could be used in part exchange.
