Ed what's the situation with Curtis Jones and Ben Woodbury please, are they likely to be loaned out? I notice they been left out today's squad to face Napoli.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know sorry. The plan was to loan them out, but they were going to be given a chance to prove themselves first in pre-season. I don't know if they did enough to change minds or not sorry.}

Ok mate cheers. Like I say they not in the squad neither is Philips for today so probably suggests they are close to going out on loan as not injured?

Van Den Berg has taken Philips' place, and it would appear that Elliot has taken Woodburn's.

No Point in taking all of them as it gets to the nitty gritty of pre-season so players need more game time, this game gives Klopp more chance to mull over the reserve team players, If we have not bought players in i see very little going out on loan, we have a monster season ahead so we need the full squad this season if we are going to challenge for silverware.

Jones and Woodburn would be best off out on loan. In our current squad they are so far back in the pecking order that game time would be unrealistic this season.

I can't see Woodburn making the team if Wilson and Kent can't make it either. I'd consider those two being ahead of him right now.

I see potential in Jones but it will depend on him whether he's happy to go on loan and fight for a position in years to come. With young players nowadays wanting 1st team game time more and more, it really depends on their attitude.
