Hi eds question.

What would happen if vvd handed in a transfer req in an attempt to push the move through.

How would you see it playing out if we went back in for him

He briefly changed his instagram and took off Southampton player and changed his picture to one in a Dutch shirt then changed it back. I could see him try and force through a move, whether we would go for him that's another thing? Probably end up at city or Chelsea.

If VVD handed in transfer request, that could end badly for all parties. Soton just didn't like us forcing them to accept the offer. Now we don't get our target, VVD unhappy, Soton gets to keep an unhappy player.

{Ed001's Note - Saints just didn't like us going behind their backs and breaking the rules. If we had gone through official channels and the player then said he only wanted to play for us, they would have accepted it.}
