Schalke left back Kolasanic linked on a free transfer. I remember ed001 mentioning his name a good 6 months ago as a potential option.

have watched schalke a lot and i think he would fit in very nicely in england. i think this would be a very good signing for liverpool if true.

I've seen him play a couple of times and the guy is a very solid defender with attacking sense. He took over from Fuchs who is the best LB in the PL. I wouldn't mind him at all.

Ed001, What are your thoughts on Lovren if I may ask? I find myself constantly struggling to make up my mind!

{Ed001's Note - on his day he is good, but he can be rash and is far too inconsistent, which suggests he has mental issues with concentration and focus. Without good concentration and focus you are unlikely to reach your potential as a defender on a regular basis. Personally I think he would make an excellent back up, third choice, defender, but he is not quite good enough for first choice.}
