Eds, with Klopp having so much love for Mhyketarian (spelling) can you see us going for him in the summer?

{Ed001's Note - far too soon to say, but it seems highly unlikely.}

Myk is too big a name now to be a Klopp signing. Maybe some lower profile unpolished gems like Michael Duris or Stanley Nka Ohawuchi sound more kloppo style.

With him bender, gundogan and hummels contracts ending in 2017 surely worth a try in the summer.

Gundogan is injury prone, and we don't need anyone else in the squad like that!
Hummels I would love us to sign, but he will probably move to Bayern or somewhere else.
Bender simply can't sign, because of his name, its a shocker and he would get ripped everywhere he went on Merseyside!

{Ed002's Note - Dortmund's Mkhitaryan was of interest to Juventus over the summer but the player, who earlier in the year was unhappy in Germany, seems content right now and is likely to extend his contract. There has been no interest of Liverpool at all.

Gundogan was refusing to agree a new deal and Dortmund were willing to let him leave this past summer as he was seen as a shadow of his former (pre-injury) self. Clubs were interested, including Manchester United and Manchester City, but an approach about his availability was responded to that a three year extension has been agreed between the club and player and details are being finalised. However, he then again refused to sign the contract and all he was prepared to do was to sign an extension until 2017. Dortmund are pretty much done with him - he was expected to leave this past summer and they had already a replacement in place. Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester City, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Arsenal have all been interested to some extent or other. Barcelona may still be interested but they are certainly not pushing right now. Manchester City and Arsenal walked away over concerns about sustained fitness and form against price - they will likely see the risk as still too high. Manchester United may continue to show interest but will only bite at the right price - and the player may have reservations about opportunities at Old Trafford. Cannot be discounted. Bayern Munich failed with an offer of Goetze as part of a deal for Gundogan in the summer - and a second one including Højbjerg as part of the deal. Dortmund would rather not sell to Bayern. If he is to move soon then Juventus and, just possibly, Barcelona seem the most viable destinations. If he is to move in the summer, both of the Manchester clubs can be added to that group. Right now there has been no interest of Liverpool.

Mats Hummels will be a target for Manchester United in the summer and may also be wanted by Juventus. Arsenal's interest has seemingly gone for now - and whilst I doubt it will return there does remain a chance that M. Wenger will look to adding experience to his defence. Interest may arise in Spain. There has been no interest of Liverpool at all but don't be surprised by a move from Liverpool for another Dortmund centre back.

Spurs had sustained interest in Sven Bender that Dortmund pretty much ended for good this past summer with a firm "not for sale" placed in front of him. Dortmund will look to extending his contract and Spurs will look to their targets. There has been no interest of Liverpool at all.

Whether or not everyone on Merseyside is a homophobe, as the poster suggest, or not is not something I wish to comment on.}

But what about Lars Bender?
