Morning,
Can i just say the hypocrisy coming from players and pundits is laughable, they never say anything about the high wages, transfer fees, the rats that are agents fleecing clubs, robbing fans since 92, having to pay £100 for a kit etc, don't see them going in uproar when the subscriptions go up, don't see them banging on about bringing caps into the game, throw in them ****%$rs at Uefa and Fifa into the mix and I have zero sympathy for anyone in this sport except fans.

Lancaster, to be fair I have not heard a single player or pundit moaning about the money, that’s almost taken a backseat.

The principal horror in the proposal is the anti-competitive nature.

Football has changed and developed throughout its 150+ year journey but it has always maintained the core principal of fair competition.

Yes, that includes money, but Blackburn fans were fine with Walker buying the league, as were Chelsea fans a decade later. However, these proposals stop any club other than the founding 15 from competing regularly in the ‘premier’ competition - THAT is what is wrong.

The game is dead, money money money. Agents should be the first thing they sort out with all this happening then improve referees standards. We need to decide if VAR is here to stay. To me Money + no fans + VAR has killed the game entirely which is soul destroying even before the ESL stuff came out. Football needs a head wobble and a total revamp to make us the fans fall back in love with the game again.

Always, spot on, agents are the leeches of this sport, also a ref should come and say why he thought a decision he made was correct instead of permanently hiding away, VAR should be scrapped, its trying to be too clever, i can forgive human error if its explained and also we would then know that technology wouldn't be the best way forward so human error would need to be accepted.
