There have been some fine and famous players to grace the Anfield pitch over the years;Sir Kenny Dalgleish, Keegan, Toshack, Torres, Suarez, Salah and now Diogo but does anyone remember the legend that is Steve Mardenborough?

I am struggling a bit with this question as I can't see a Liverpool link apart from getting the winner for Wolves at Anfield in the mid-eighties. I remember him playing for a lot of lower league Welsh clubs throughout his career.

I can't remember what I had for tea last night, though!
