Hi Eds,

Question regarding the finances of LFC. Specifically, how winning the premier league impacts their transfer budget.

I am somewhat confused by their lack of funds as last year and this year they received big payouts for their top finishes in the league. Now i understand that you do not get outrageous money for winning the league compared to a second place finish. but are these winnings not being put into the transfer budget? From what i can gather online the payout should be around 40m GBP. How is this not further incentive to go after targets when many have a C.V. discount currently?

I appreciate your insight and thank you for all your hard work!

CountMip.

{Ed002's Note - This has been done to death over and over again. If you remain confused after what I have explained there is nothing I can realistically say to change that. The Liverpool Chief Executive and coach have also tried to explain the situation but for some reason there are folks who cannot grasp it.}

There is like any business rolling costs from other years. We bought big with vvd and Allison and a few other deals which has lead to bonuses and agent fees etc being due now. We bet big obvs didn’t see a global C.V. hitting but here it is. Thankfully they won a few things 🏆🏆🏆🏆.

OP, Ed02 and many others have explained the situation as things stand on this forum. I propose you use the Search function and you will find several threads where these issues have been thrashed out, man.

What Klopp has said regarding this is that the funds just aren't available. "Klopp says Liverpool's decision is down to a lack of funds due to the C.V. C.V.. "All clubs are losing money. " Yet other clubs are splashing the cash.

I suppose what im asking is the specifics of their payout due to winning the league. Does it mostly go to player bonuses? Is it insignificant amount in the big picture? 19/ 20 marked the end of the equal allocation of premier league payout to all 20 teams, and I would think accordingly that LFC would have an extra 10-20m GBP to spend than other clubs.

Best.

{Ed002's Note - You had best ignore the finances as you clearly are missing the point about income - and liverpool do not have more to spend than other clubs they have considerably less than many.}
