Ed, are there any restrictions on how transfers are structured that will hinder the industries recovery from the fall out from C19?

Are there any changes in your opinion that they could be made in the short term to ease the situation?

I am thinking along the lines of any current limits on time frames to complete payments or red tape that if lifted will help any financial burdens. If not then no worries but if anyone would have some inventive ideas on what they can and should do, I think it would be yourself. So rather than the, what is going to happen question, what magic wand actions do you think would really help?

{Ed002's Note - Increasing timescales would be a disaster for many clubs. I am not aware of what "red tape" you are referring to.}

Neither do I. I assume that transfers can be quite Complex in nature when many parties are involved and was interested if there were any measures you feel the governing bodies could bring in that will help clubs as they try to pull themselves out of this situation.

We have seen governments around the world moving goalposts (poor metaphor) to ease pressures, I was just wondering what options are there for governing bodies within football to help ease the financial burden/ complexities and looking in particular at anything that can be done with the transfer process. Blanket decisions that may help the many?

{Ed002's Note - I truly have no idea what you are referring to.}
