Ed002, assuming this sticks and Manchester City are banned from the Champions League for 2 seasons, does that then mean that 5th place will become a Champions League spot, should Manchester City finish in the top 4? If yes, I would assume that the Europa League spots will go 1 place down the table?

{Ed002's Note - It is up to The FA - they recommend teams for European competition but clubs would be seriously miffed if it did not simply remove them from the offing - meaning fifth would qualify for the Champions League. The Europa spots would be 6th plus FA Cup and League Cup winners - or revert to league places if the winners have otherwise qualified or are excluded.}

Do you think it could lead to a Premier League point deduction?
If so, would they prefer to get it this season, where they have only a small chance of winning the league, or during another season and make a title challenge harder then.
