Any truth in klavan and moreno being offered new contracts eds? Could that potentially mean another season of gomez/ Trent at rb?

Is it true that Mignolet will be offered a new deal? And going forward, does that mean another season on the left wing for mane?

Thanks for the response ed001 should've been more clear, think it was ed002 who said lovren and matip would rotate being vvd's partner next season and klavan could possibly leave in the summer. Also Gomez would get games at cb and we were looking to sign a rb but i thought maybe the lack of rbs in the market, klavan being in line for a contract and gomez injury problems (so not a reliable cb choice atm) changed our plans.

{Ed001's Note - Matip, Lovren and Klavan do tend to miss a lot of games through injury as well, so it doesn't rule out Gomez's chances of getting the odd game in the centre. A right back is still being sought and TAA will continue to get games in midfield as well. So there is a need of more strength in depth.}

from what i have read, klopp will look at bringing in a new RB with Clyne set to leave this summer, this will mean that Gomez will be covering RB and CB and TAA covering RB and CM.

I can see Klavan being kept as 5th choice CB. Moreno looks to be signing a new deal and continue to challenge at LB with Robertson.

To be honest if Gomez stays fit for the season i can see him jumping above Matip in the pecking order.

Fair enough ed001. Then I think it would be fair to assume that if matip or Gomez suffer setbacks in their recoveries then klopp will look to sign a cb. It's not ideal that 4 out of 5 of our cbs are injury prone.
