Ed2 sportbild reporting that we've enquired for Sule. Fantastic if we have. With wisdom, jones and toure all going, could we add ilori or either the main 3 if we are after Sule. I see Gomez being used as fullback cover.

God hope it's true. Sule is supreme. Sule, Sakho, Matip and Lovren with Ilori as cover. This would be and awesome CB list for any squad.

Need a better GK or it almost means nothing.

I was hoping Matip/ Sakho or Lovren plus Skrtel and Lucas remaIning as versatile backup but if we sold Skrtel for Sule we'd be in even better shape. Can't see Illori, Wisdom making it and Gomez needs more time.

What about Gomez then? I don't think the club needs 4 specialist CB's ( all wanting regular game time ) with us missing both CL and EL next season.
If Sule were to come then I expect 2 out of Skrtel / Sakho / Lovren to go.

Why Harry? You make it sound like having 4 players for 2 available positions is madness, when it's clearly the norm everywhere. With EPL, League Cup and FA Cup, with EL possibly also, next year, having 4 cb's is an absolute minimum. Gomez may be talented, but still unproven, and it's about time we stopped living on future potential and results, and living for results today!

Ed002, how do you generally rate SportBild when it comes to transfer scoops? I know it's a kind of vague question, but if you were to read a transfer rumour revealed by Bild, would you feel more inclined to believe it or treat it with a pinch of salt?
