Gotta say I have been pleasantly surprised by origi this year after reading about him on la ligue worst team of 2014-2015 etc I thought we had bought another plug. If he can learn from studges movement and hone his finishing we have a great prospect on our hands. If him and ings had stayed fit in sturridges absence I reckon we would have rattled top 4. Firmino IMO has also impressed I don't think we need to sign any attacking players in summer. A decent goalie with grujic and matip would be enough for me. Obviously get rid of 5-6 players.

Divock has done really well, really chuffed for the lad. His interview after the Saints mauling was very heartening. Seems like a humble, hard working, down to earth lad
Completely unlike Balotelli or El Haji Diouf. I really hope he makes it, still a young pup but a mature head.

Benteke would currently be in the EPL worst team this year - not because he lacks talent, he is just not suited to the style and team around him.

Origi may well have been poor last season. I don't know as I don't watch French footy. Regardless, he has taken this season as an opportunity for a fresh start and as Ron said - mature head on him. Full credit.

Origi has impressed mostly with his ability to learn very quickly and hit the ground running. I thought he would need a lot more time but that perfect hatrick vs Saints ended that for me and his neat finish after coming in cold yesterday off the bench is another sign that the only way for him is up. His pace is deadly and with players like Studge, Couts and Firmino who are just brilliant, he will defo improve. Ings fits my overall opinion of Origi as well.

Origi reminds me of young Kluivert, if anyone still remembers.

Origi looks like a good squad player to me - and I mean that as no disrespect - but we have yet to see him change the course of a game this season with his goals. He has scored when the team is playing well and scoring - if he starts to bang in important goals then I'll alter my opinion but honestly, as much as I admire the lads work ethic and willingness to learn, he doesn't look more than a squad player to me (albeit a good squad player) .

Origi at present is the new version of Welbeck. Agree with Seano. He has scored goals when the team is already winning. Pedro for example.

Agree Seano, but IMO he's best viewed as a squad player for now mostly because he's young and still learning - has the potential to be so much more.

What's impressed me the most recently has been his movement, timing of his runs and pace. Much better positioning, good first touch and subtle movements to create space.

The goal against Villa he made the run early, showed good acceleration and good awareness to cut across the defender so he couldn't tackle him. Earlier in the year he might have been a bit more hesitant and given them a chance to slide tackle or to push him out wide.

West brom equaliser anyone, where Origi saved us from going down at home. Showed great heart and desire to win.

Fair play Ron that had honestly slipped my mind - and if I remember rightly he was excellent when he was brought on in that game: direct and full of energy. I still see him as a squad player but a good squad player and certainly one worth keeping hold of.

remember the klopp quote "we can have fun with this player" now the hype has died down origi can progress at his own pace, plenty for him to improve on but has shown the hunger and desire we need from our players! don't think he will be jumping in the crowd any time soon though!
