IMO couthino and sturridge will be sacrificed to balance the books and for the new manager some money to spend on players he would like to bring in.

I imagine if we miss out on top 4 Coutinho will look for a way to the Nou Camp himself, he might even do so even if we manage top 4. We won't have to 'sacrifice' anything he will be looking to leave.

He does have a long contract and I would hope we would at least get Sterling money for the boy if he goes.

there seems to be a lot of disagreeing here, i hope it dosn't happen, but, where else will money come from for the new manager? there the main 2 players in the team who would fetch a lot of money, albeit sturridge staying injury free!

imred, maybe sacrafice was the wrong word, i ment he is one of the players that like you say,having a long contract, will generate a lot of money.

I don't think they would sell either unless they wanted to go. We have others we can sell.
