Good afternoon Eds
I guess this one is for you ED001
Ive just been looking at the pictures in the Echo of the new Main Stand Roof being lowered onto the new structure
I was wondering (sorry this is abit of a civil engineers question) but thought you may of heard something. with the new structure being built, are there plans to remove the 4 vertical girders that are actually in the Main Stand itself that creates all the restricted view seats?
Thanks Eds
{Ed001's Note - I don't actually know sorry. I would assume they would want to be rid of the restricted views, but I don't know.}

Yes they will be taken away when the old roof is removed and the upper level of seating is being built

Is that what the truss is for, to act as the support for the stand? Having said that I was terrible at technology at school so I could be wrong 😃

The new Truss will be the support for the new cantilever roof that doesn't require vertical supports so the restricted view seats will no longer exist.
