I just want to say how much of a brilliant midfielder Lucas is at his role. We would be stupid to sell him and I hope the Lucas haters have gone away for good

Lucas LOVES defending and breaking up play and literally sacrifies his body and health to win every ball with every tackle he makes. Yet BR and many fans thought/still think he is poor. Oh, the irony.

also his passing is quite often overlooked, sometimes I wonder if he's Brazilian then he'll thread through pinpoint balls.

Lucas dominated Yaya Toure a couple of years ago when Toure was in his prime against city and during Kennys full season it's arguable the loss of Lucas led to our sudden downturn in form. He is a very unassuming player, seems like he does nothing because there's no bone crunching tackles but that's just because he plays smart and just gives no space to move in and also in his injury free seasons has led the league in key pass interceptions.

Lucas and Henderson both played well all game, again Allen looked a passenger never in position, never able to track back, no passes which would lead to a chance. His goal deflected away the other 89 minutes of pointlessness

I agree Lucas did quite well, Hendon is much better playing forward than withdrawn hitting space and final ball getting better all the time,allen was very lost, he simply long term isn't good enough, I think we need a big, quick, powerful central mid to come in and give resister a go.ibe played well I think despite what some have said in other posts.how did sterling miss that chance?couts was the star though, brilliant and that piece of skill with a weird backheel amazing.defence is dodge though, some changes there Defo in summer.is flanno going to be around Sunday? hope so.
