Rennes apparently considering Matip as a Theate replacement.

Sounds like a good opportunity for a swap deal if you ask me.

Arthur Theate is definitely a good fit for LCB in a 3 man defence, if that is what we intend to persist with.

I am not sure about him in a two though and he's not particularly tall - which Klopp tends to like in his CBs.

Klopp is not allowing Luke Chambers to go anywhere now. Wants him around the first team.

We won’t be signing or selling defenders now.

Can’t see us doing much at the moment.
