Hi Ed2 will Chelsea increase their bid for MC and if not then will Liverpool still try and sign the player. Is there a possible scenario where Brighton stop entertaining any further bids after their deadline on Thursday night?

Re MC, interesting that he wants to leave a club that’ll play in Europe (I think that’s correct), turn down a move to a club in Europe comp, for a team that’s not in Europe comp.

Obviously it’s up to him where he wants to go, but if his desire to play for R Madrid in the future I’d of thought playing in a European comp would aid the end goal of his.

Whether he plays in the Europa League this year has no impact on the likelihood of him playing for Madrid.

Also, in general I think way too much is made of his comments on wanting to go to Madrid. Everybody has a dream, he just voiced his, and it's a normal and understandable dream. So what? Do you think he's going to pull up lame playing for Liverpool so that he never gets his dream move? If he pushes for a move in the future, I don't understand why this is a big deal. I don't need players to profess their eternal love for Anfield, just play well while here, and he will.
