ED001, I know yourself like most on here wanted Slot gone a few months ago, my question is, is it too late to get rid now n bring Gerrard in for the rest of the season, is the remaining games not enough for someone else to get a tune out of this squad, in my opinion Gerrard would at least have them fired up.

{Ed001's Note - it is never too late, you can make a difference in one game just by bringing something fresh to the players and getting them excited to play again.}

ED001 I agree, i'd have got rid in November myself, but think Gerrard could rally them round now, the people who make these decisions are incompetent n it needs seriously looking into, we're limped from game to game with no plan, like we've gave up this season with no additions in jan, maybe they could have told us fans who pay ( to us ) fortunes for tickets etc n maybe we could've gave up this season aswel

Strom, I was saying it back then, hence why I gave up. Slot should have gotten his walking papers right after the PSV and Forrest batterings. 9 losses in 12, and the man still kept a job?

As for him being sacked now, I don't see it.

Not cos things couldn't change for the better. I just think Hughes and Edwards have put themselves out there in support of Slot, and that it would be bad PR for them to sack him now. Many said it. That Roundtable BS would all end in tears.

Oli, them games you mentioned summed it up for me. I knew he'd lost what ever he had the season bfr. If we all could see it, why couldn't the ppl who get paid vast amounts see it... Embarrassing.
