Ed1 Regarding Slot i've heard that he doesn't bother going to the academy games to watch the youth. But i've also heard that he (even more than Klopp) has got selected youngsters spending more time training with the first team where he can see how they go against harder opposition. Just wondering what your thoughts are on how he is wrt developing youth?

{Ed001's Note - hard to say, is he actually doing it to develop them or just because of the injuries meaning he needs players to fill in the teams for practice matches? That happens regularly. That is how Wan-Bissaka got discovered at Palace, they had injuries and ran out of right-backs and he was brought up to fill in for a practice match. After destroying Zaha in the training game, they decided to give him a chance. So it can work, even if it is not a planned progression into the first team, but it is not likely to work in the long term. Which is why I would want to know first if this is something that will continue even if the injuries clear up.}
