Great performance. Could it be that we are actually starting to get good at this possession style stuff? I won't count my chickens but elated for Nunez at the double whilst also happy Jota continues to prove his doubters wrong.
We look so much better when playing with traditional fullbacks so let's hope Trent's experiment has ended and he either moves into midfield or stays at RB. I hope for the former and to have Bradley and Ramsey Duke it out for the starting spot.

It looked like Gomez was inverting a bit from the left, or did I make that up?

{Ed001's Note - no you didn't, he was very much inverted from the left.}

Ed1, It seems like the fullback now know when its time to invert and when it is not. We also seems to be moving the ball faster now with more urgency compared to early season. Konate also seems to be able to play long balls just like Van Dijk. That just what I seen but you know a lot more than me Ed, so I could be wrong.

That Kluivert tackle on Diaz is a red card right Ed? Wonder why VAR didn't anything about it. It look worse than Curtis one.

{Ed001's Note - not sure what a red card is any more. If going over the ball is now being rescinded, then who knows what is a red?}

I think the Kluivert challenge looked quite nasty but personally i don’t think it’s a red card. But I don’t think Jones was a red card either or Calvert Lewins or a number of other red cards that have been given this season. It feels like the officials just decide at the time and there’s no actual precedence set.

I’ve seen the conspiracy that PGMOL are out to get us but if that’s the case they could have easily have sent Gomez and Bradley off yesterday for two
Offences that weren’t red cards but could have been given as them if these brown envelopes have Been passed.

That’s how corruption works but it looks more like incompetence and inconsistency throughout the league not just us.

{Ed002's Note - There is no corruption - try not to keep making embarrassing statements - or take them to another site.}

Ed002 my comment is saying there isn’t corruption and it’s more incompetence and inconsistency.

@Ed01, you can blame Darren England's incompetence for why we do not know what a red card is anymore. He is the one who used a freeze frame in his VAR image (against VAR protocol) to improperly influence the ref to give Jones the red at Spurs after the ref had correctly (IMO), given a yellow cos clearly it was an accident after Jones slipped over the ball, just like Kluivert was shoved in the back towards Diaz which at the end of the day, both were accidents.

Now when the same things happen like yesterday or with Malo Gusto in the Chelsea/ Fulham game on Willian and no red is given, you get the outcry and rightfully so. The PGMOL in their bid to defend the indefensible, have now fallen into the trap they laid for themselves after the Spurs game. I blame them for all this hoopla.
