Originally I thought tsmi but more I think of it gomez better bet. he fresh after break and had been plaaying fairly well. phsysical type game might suit him better. gakpo back in training today, massive boost that considering south americans lat back.

I do wonder if putting VVD on the left and Gomez and then Konate to the right of him might be a an option. Purely because he’s left footed more than anything. But I also don’t like changing it up too much either so maybe not.

Virgil not leftfooted is he? if tsimi doesn't play there was no point in him signing that new contract. personally i would have thrown chambers in before he picked up an injury.

But given all the chat about finding a LCB to replace Robbo, surely VVD is an option and then we have plenty of CB options to fill the other two spots.

Gomez has played LB before for us so I think he is an option there. I love Tsimi and he obviously loves us too but the system we are playing now does not suit him at all. If we stick to an orthodox back 4 than it would be much better for him.

Quansah or Chambers even? Saying that I think it will be Tsimi - he is a left footed full back and it’s usually more of a game of kick and rush in the Derby rather than a footy game.
