Morning Ed001,

Are you satisfied with our transfer business as it stands, or do you think we need further incomings/ outgoings? Do you believe that if we don't acquire 1 or 2 defensive options, we could be left lacking in terms of depth or quality?

Additionally, do you think it's time for some players to move on?

{Ed001's Note - yes but there is always more needed. It is just that we only should now be looking at players to push for a first team place, rather than players like Gravenberch who are barely good enough to push for a squad place. I would rather the likes of Clark got the place than him.}

If he's going to persist with this system then an LCB to replace Robbo in the starting XI is an absolute must, I'm not sure how anyone can think any different. We're basically playing with a back two and only one defensive minded midfield player.

In an ideal world though, we just stop playing this system.

I realise the game has moved on since I started going to the match (early 70's) . However I am always with a good old fashioned defender. In this case, Nat Phillips.

So Ed if no one else comes in do you think we can compete for the league and the 3 cup competitions we are in? I’m sorry mate all for giving Endo a fair chance I’m not writing him off at all I just don’t see how we’ve gone from being interested in Bellingham, and the 2 lads gone to Chelsea to settling for what we have plus Endo? On top of that no additional CB options? Everyone can see that Robertson doesn’t work in this set up now and Matip is not good enough as you’ve stated yourself. Surely we need to address both areas?

I could only imagine the attitude of the haters on this site if we decided to go with Clark over signing even someone average like gravenberch ed! Think some fans just demand signings and think football is like playing FIFA!
