Hi Ed's reading Barella to Newcastle for £50 million, any news of us making an offer? Seems a reasonable fee so surely Klopp is interested.

Is he usually not better than that tho ed25? In fairness to him it was a poor game and a lot of players played poorly. A typical final.

I rate him to be honest and apparently Klopp is a big fan. At the £50 million quoted surely Klopp is thinking of making a move? Whether he prefers Newcastle who knows.

Barella and McAllister would be a great pairing, lot of energy and both rarely injured. Bring in say Veiga and one of Kone/ Thuram and that’s midfield done.

Ed25, lots of players stunk up the joint in that final so singling out Barella as if he was the only one, is not a thing, Im sorry. Maybe it was a poor game cos there was a measure of fatigue on both teams, as well.

I watch Serie A quite a bit and Barella is a very good player who can still improve. If Newcastle get him then, they are getting a really good player. I didn't think he would move cos he was trying to get a new deal at Inter so if he does then, Inter clearly need the cash or can't get a new deal for him. Not sure we were really interested in him, anyway. Just my opinion.

{Ed025's Note - i took interest in the game to see how Barella performed due to the interest from liverpool oli, i must admit i have not seen that much of him so i thought i would watch to see what all the hype was about, he was bloody awful mate and in my view when the going gets tough the tough get going, great players stand out in the biggest games and he certainly never did that, all about opinions i suppose but i never seen anything that suggests to me that he would be a standout player in the prem..

I can’t see anyway ithe transfer will be £50m. Be closer to £90m imo. Which is way too much for him.

Ed025 Haaland was as bad, he not a great player then ha? Barella is in the top line of midfielders imo.

Ed25, so you came to all that conclusion after watching him once in a CL final where near everybody stunk up the joint including KDB? You say when the going gets tough the tough gets going. Does that apply to all the other players who dropped stinkers in the same game or just to Barella? We can't even debate the topic cos you confessed that you don't even watch him play, anyway, something I actually have done.

Sorry, you cannot admit on one hand that you have not seen him play that much (or near ever) and then on the other hand, conclude based on ONE game that he must be a bad player cos he had on bad game (like many others did, btw) regardless of his magnitude. Those two statements cannot be true at the same time. That's just the way it is.

{Ed025's Note - if you read it properly oli you will notice that i said i have seen him play a few times, not just once but i concentrated more on the final because of the liverpool connection...so please dont make things up to suit your agenda mate..
