Reports this morning two English clubs are getting cold feet hopefully Liverpool are one of the two.

{Ed001's Note - it is Chelsea and City.}

It’s the American contingent that are driving this - FSG, Kroenke and Glazers, according to Ed002 - they have their ‘franchise’ model in the US as a template.

Unfortunately FSG will likely be among the last to get cold feet.

Ed do you see city and Chelsea actually backing down after reading ed2 post on European page it all seems like its going to happen regardless
I would love 1 of the 12 clubs to make a uturn and back down.

{Ed001's Note - neither of those want to be booted out of domestic competitions and would not have signed up if they had known that was going to happen. So there is every chance they pull out.}

If City and Chelsea pull out then, I can see the pressure ramping up on Utd and LFC owners to pull out as well even tho, I think this whole ESL thing could still happen down the line. It will just depend on who still wants to be in it and what climate football is at that time. Now I could be wrong. I hope Chelsea and City do pull out cos that may cause a domino effect.

I wouldn't really have a problem with it if they stay in domestic leagues and revamp cl.

{Ed002's Note - That is not the proposal.}
