Nice one, Ed. Quick question: with the club world cup squad revealed and quite a number of youngsters and squad players included along with the big boys, whom do you expect to line up against Villa in the league cup?

Nice read, Ed. I always knew Mina and Keane were dodgy BUT my word, they were dreadful. IMO, Mina was just as bad if not worse. The guy was done for pace and power each time he came up vs Origi. Origi was toying with him and the more Mina got physical the more he struggled. Keane too should have been booked for a dreadful challenge on Origi from behind. The fact that Silva signed the likes of Mina and Iwobi for 40m each just tells you how much of a mess he (and Koeman and the Big Scam himself) have made of Everton. 400m spent in 4 seasons only to be in the relegation zone tells the whole story.

As for LFC, I thought we were brilliant collectively. Individually, I loved Shaq and Lallana who stood out for me cos they had not played for a while. Like many, I was surprised with the lineup BUT I knew rotation was key and had to happen and would not have held it against Klopp had we not won. Players need to be rested during this infernal Dec. period. On to B'mouth where hopefully, we can pile on more pressure on our rivals. Peace!

Tris - I could barely believe how easy and often we were beating their defenders with straight long ball from the back. Didn't seem to matter, long ball to the flanks, down the middle, they were all at sea. That just shows how poor to coaching is in-game at a micro level but also at a macro level in terms of the style and personality they have in that defensive unit. Could no one just open their mouth on the pitch and figure it out? Anyways good for us, but it was ugly to watch for them!
