I predicted 3-2 Barcelona first leg. We played well enough to get that result. The result was disappointing but it was a challenging performance against the competition’s best team.

We all want a trophy but what I really need from Liverpool is to compete for trophies and have the opportunity to be strong enough to win them.

I believe my needs are now fulfilled. Sadly my yearning for a trophy continues.

listen we could have been born supporters of a mid table team that win one week and lose the next, never compete for any trophies, never experience CL nights or feel the buzz for the week leading up to massive games against the worlds best teams. it's a privilege supporting this club, but it's the hope that eventually kills, always so close but yet so far. But week on week it's a great team to be invested in and I have no doubt it won't be long before we win a title again.
