Few of my observations:
1. Keita looks good with carrying the ball forward. Even though he started sluggish, he grow into the game. Hope he builds on it

2. Lallana - I don't know where to start and where to end. I can recollect only two useful contributions from him. One for goal and another a block. At one time both Keita and Robertson had acre of spaces on left side with West Ham out of shape, he taken too many touches allowing them to get back and also he almost lost the ball. Hope Jones getting look ahead of him. It looks he already wanted to start elsewhere

3. Someone needs to remind Matip don't cross half line. Just make simple passes. He almost losses ball every time allowing opponents to counter attack us. It looks my yesterday post on Lovern has aged well. Hope Lovern comes soon

4. For all his hard work, Firmino letting himself down with poor and lethargic passes. He needs to cut that part of the game. Else he will be remembered for those mistakes.

5. Mane - Arguably the best player in the last two games. Not just because he scored the goal. Actually it looks like he always wanted to make something happen. Remember UCL final, when our team looked poor after Salah injury. It was him who never give up. Always tried. It looks the same.

We need to win Bournemouth and sit down and start a fresh with that mini break.

Agree with all this.
Keita looked much better once Lallana had gone off.
I feel sorry for Lallana. There was a time when he would lead the press.
He just lost his strength and stamina.

Completely agree on Keita. He seems to be our only midfielder that is capable of picking up the ball and running with it. This is exactly what we need when the other team is defending with 11 men behind the ball and out front 3 lack movement. Keita will only improve with game time and confidence. He should of been rewarded for it against Leicester with a pen.

I have to say I agree with most of your points. Matip does seem to have a tendency to step out and then lose the ball cheaply which is frustrating. Reminds me of what Crouch said about Wilson Palacios role at Spurs. Apparently his instructions from Harry were just to win the ball and then give it straight to Modric. I feel that kind of advise would suit Matip. Win the ball and play the simple pass.
Keita to me is operating at 70- 80% of his potential but building a few per cent every game. I really hope to see a complete dominant performance soon because he just seems to drop the level on some of the decisive passes. Once he gets more of those passes right I think it will greatly affect our chance creation as he is carrying the ball well.
We are fortunate that Mane has had a good spell of form at a time that Salah hasn't been able to create as much as he usually does. Mane is the difference between 2 points in the last 2 games and no points in the last 2 games.

We should put Keita behind the front three almost a free role with 2 behind him and just let him drive forward an pick a pass for now cos that's what he seems best with at minute also same with Shaq if Playing they better centrally cos of the creativity.

{Ed002's Note - Why not just put him on the bench rather than try and adapt the team to player around someone who is not performing at this time?}

I meant if he has too play like last night due too injuries or if he coming of the bench, not by any means build anything round him just play too his current strong points, as there is so much more too his game as too what he was doing in the German league.

{Ed002's Note - I think it would be risky and something like a 4-1-1-1-3 formation that could weken the side.}

I get what the ed and the poster are saying. We have so many injuries that keita has to play but if he's going to play, make it a more advanced role but there was no cover in midfield so keita had to play where he did. What frustrates me about liverpool, everytime we try and play fast free flowing football we do it with players who don't suit it and then when we play defensive slow build up play we do it with players that don't suit it. last night we tried to attack alot, lallana suited that, kieta and fabinho didnt. They can't protect that style of play. I have to say its klopps fault for thinking we had the personel to go to west ham and try and steam roll them. we were VERY LUCKY the game ended 1-1.
