Ed001, Klopp has said in his presser that Matip and Hendo are in full training. Would you assume from that they both are available to play? I thought Matip was a few weeks away that's all.

{Ed001's Note - yes mate, Matip was due back on the 19th so it is only a week early.}

If matip is fit he should play.

Fab played at CB in a game that we showed no desire to win. I think going out of both domestic cups early is a blessing in disguise.

Fab is looking like a top notch CM and a decent CB. So play him in his best position; CM. He has that direct attacking sense and confidence on the ball that Can had only I would rather have Fabhino.

Saying all that, he may not even play, milly, gini, Keita, shaqiri and Henderson are all fit.

Robbie, it is not that simple. Matip may be back in training BUT not match fit for tmrw as the game may have come too early for him. As we all know, a player who has not played in a while needs to be able to train over a number of days consistently and at the same tempo over a period of days, to be considered. This is how Klopp rolls since he got here.

Matip may be available or has recovered from BUT Klopp may think he can play Fab in defence cos he would have been preparing for this eventuality since Wolves and the team's preparation all week will be based on that. Most importantly, Fab is fully fit and match fit. Matip is not. So IMO, Fab should start in CB with Matip prolly on the bench should something happen. Just my opinion.

Anyone who has had a broken collar bone will know that Matip will be feeling that injury for a while yet, and it won't take much to damage it again. I don't see Klopp being too hasty with him.

Fair answer red wolf. I'm not sure why your comment has 2 thumbs down, you are right. I misunderstood, didn't know matip was so early back from injury. Hhhmmm? So who do we play at CB? Van dijke of course. I guess it has to be fabhino. I have heard previously, someone said (klopp I think) that Henderson could play in any defensive position. I think he would do well as a CB.

Many thanks for your understanding, Robbie. Fab has to play at CB until one of the CB's are fully fit to start, I'm afraid. As for Hendo, I don't see him as a good fit at CB cos tho, he is the best mid. at LFC in terms of positional awareness and good sense of anticipation to snuff out attacks, the CB position is a diff. beast. On the other hand, Fab is a natural defender, a fullback hence, he played in he back 4 before his switch to DM hence, he would be better suited for the CB position based on this. Just my opinion.
