Shaqiri certainly didn’t look like a fat git when he scored last night.

He miscontrolled it initially, the defender stepped up and stepped and must have given him a 5 yard start. Even then he almost caught Shaqiri.
He was awful last night but he’ll go to another club on a good contract because every now and again he’ll score a goal. Awful player, awful attitude.

I don't see how you can see that as miscontrol. Miscontrol would be giving the ball away or squandering a chance. Yes it's a little behind him but his second touch was perfect. Running with the ball is a lot harder than without so a 5 yard gap being closed down in a 50 yard run is expected. He's not Usain Bolt if my memory serves me right.

He's not good enough for us, but to say he's awful and that he played awful last night is so ignorant.
