Hi Ed01

That was a great article, I had forgotten all about Berahino, he was supposed to be the next big thing as a striker.
I also agree on Renato Sanchez, remember the hype over him at Euro 2016. Do you think he moved to Bayern too soon, or is he another player with an attitude problem who thought he had already made it?
Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - I think there are a lot of things with Sanches. He is simply not as good as people thought, joined Bayern too early and is coasting due to thinking he has made it. And thank you, really pleased you enjoyed the article.}

I think it's a confidence thing as well. He looked a shell of a player even at a small team like Swansea.

I worked with a lad who played for Salford in a friendly against Benfica a few years back, said Sanches was amazing that day and ran the show at 16 years old. Obviously the level of opponent was low but he said he looked special.
I also think the fact he was playing in the Portuguese euro winning side at 18,they youngest winner of the tournament ever, young player of the tournament and voted the golden boy that year shows he had great potential and was playing well.
A club like Liverpool certainly shouldn’t be taking a risk on him but there is clearly a good player in there, I would say a move back to Portugal would probably be best for him and try and rebuild his reputation and from what people are saying he needs to improve his attitude and get his hunger for the game back, he’s still only 20 and can certainly achieve a lot in the game but the last 2 seasons have been damaging for his career.

{Ed001's Note - no mate, he is another one of those he matured young and so looked better than he was. He was more physical than the rest, a Portugese Freddy Adu. As for all the international stuff, Ronaldo can drag any old crap through tournaments, as he has shown for years.}
