Max Meyer has confirmed he leave Schalke on a free next summer. Surely as a free we will be interested? Would be a good deal even as a bench player for impact. As it stands we are losing both Can and Coutinho next summer, so signing Meyer on a pre contract in January for a summer arrival should be something we are looking at.

We're not losing coutinio next year. He has 4 + years left on his contract doesn't he? I was all for keeping him but the crying and the "great sadness" has annoyed me. We will probably sell him next year though for massive money. If it's done at the very start of summer we should have plenty of time and money to sort something out. Can is a different story, I'd like us to do w/ e we can to keep him. He has to understand that with quality we have in midfield also with kieta coming in he isn't going to play every game. I think he takes a look at where the club are at around January and then decides. Kieta and lemar in and Can and coutinio out is fine by me.

Nabby is already in the fold and will replace Can even tho I don't want Can to leave as he and Naby will make a deadly midfield pair. As for Meyer, we shall see as right now, he is no where close to Cou's level and Lemar is already a better player than him. I trust the scouting team and Klopp as they will have near a full season to scout Cou's replacement thoroughly.

Given how Barcelona gave an ultimatum to Coutinho that it was this summer or never, and with Ed002 saying that they will move on, so yeah, you would expect Barcelona to not come back.

But we know they have no class and will crawl back.
