Reported that Ox turned down £180k weekly from both Arsenal AND Chelsea to sign for Liverpool. for £125k. the team he supported as a boy.

Added to that Conte, Wenger and Klopp wanted the lad.

Sometimes other qualities factor into the creation of a team, not just FIFA stats.

I'll just leave that there.

I don't play video games. I played football and can use my eyes to evaluate a player. Ox is poor and is not better than what we have and all you have to do is check the Sun game to see for yourself. Now, Klopp wants him as a squad filler and that is fine by me. He's our player now and despite what I think of his ability or lack thereof, I will support him as he is one of ours now.

How many players have truly developed in the recent year of wenger? Maybe his coaching style didn't suit him - hopefully klopps style will!

We can only hope, Firmane.

I think the tightness of the arsenal shirt has a big part to play in their players performances, poor guys are barely able to breathe in those things. Look at OX's pics from last weekend on sky he is showing some serious nipples probably very self conscious about those too.

I think the way a team plays can have a massive impact on the impact of a particular players abilities. i. e. We play fast direct, counter press footy with an emphasis on speed so salah is very well suited to our game whereas he likely wouldn't be as effective in other teams, like we saw with Chelsea. Look how effective cuadrado is for Juventus when he couldn't do a thing for Chelsea, the list goes on. The ox may not be world class, but he has scary pace and directness that will suit our game far more than Arsenals. He wanted to come to us rather than the champions so give the lad a chance.

Very valid point, Waqas. The tight shirts constricting breathing and blood flow to the brain. Just staying upright on the pitch at Anfield, was about all the poor guys could do.

I believe the tight shirts were to help stop a lot of the shirt pulling. It's actually a really good idea, and Liverpool should get them too!
