Can't believe we have made no improvement defensively, we looked woeful at the back. You can have the best attacking play going forward but until we resolve this issue we won't challenge. We need some consistency in defence and I don't think buying is the answer, yes we need better players in defence but until we get the basics right and can actually hold on to a lead, or nick a game 1 nil I don't think things will change. Every goal conceded today was awful defending. It's not all doom and gloom lol we looked good at times, but if we wish to win silverware then this issue needs to be sorted. Be nice to hear some of the ed's opinions as we looked worse then we ever had at the back.

Agree, it's a fine balancing act though between attack and defence. The last 3 LFC managers have struggled to get the balance just right. Think we may have to concede here that 'heavy metal' football whilst boss to watch is not going to win us a league. Feel we just need to fine tune and will have a real chance. Klopp had it spot on when he said they had luck from corners and we had none. Still a points better than nothing and we were away. We'll improve that's for sure.

Spot on, lads. It is frustrating, I know but in the end, we know we could have and should have won that game after scoring 3 goals on the road in an away game. We need to move on to Tues now cos Hoffenheim will not be easy.
