Should we not be getting players in now if a ban might be coming or have we been told not to sign anyone by the fa pending their decision?

That's not how it works. For one, we cannot register any news players until the transfer window opens next month.

The transfer windows officially opens on the 1st July and you cannot register players until that point. We can agree pre-contracts with players / agents / clubs, which can be legally binding. But if we were to receive a ban before the 1st of July that was effective for this window, these contracts would be broken as we cannot keep our side of the agreement.
