Eds what do you think of the choice to leave Melwood and to move to the Academy? I can understand Klopp wanting to see more of the Youngsters play but I think the way it is now works better. Its a message to the youngsters, if you work hard and play well you will move to Melwood and have a chance to impress with the first team. Maybe I don't see the bigger picture.

{Ed002's Note - No, there are no secret messages and this was answered yesterday or the day before.}

The difference is the accecability for the young players to the pros. You're 13 and one day you're walking into training and Phil coutinho passes you and walks with you chatting say or maybe offers you a lift and gets to know you abit? It breaks down barriers for the young players so they feel more like they belong like they're making a normal progression rather than making a huge jump from Kirkby to melwood where they don't know anyone or where to go . It's that familiarity that's the main plus. Second to that it the point you made of easier access for the management who can now finish their paperwork and nip outside to watch the u10s 15s 18s 23s etc. Third is the point that virtually every other club does it the way we're moving toward. It'll also be a massive selling point to young talents "look at this new state of the art fercility we've just built for you"
